Rene & Concepcion Mejia:

Associate Pastor

Rene' and Connie Mejia' moved to Bryan from Defiance to start a ministry to the Spanish speaking people in the four county area. Rene' is a graduate of Goshen College with degrees in Accounting and Bible. He and Connie are refuges from El Salvador who fled to Canada when the fighting in their native country became too intense. They are the parents of 3 adult children.

Pastor Rene and his wife Concepcion Mejia have been serving in the ministry as pastors for about nine years. He is an ordained pastor with the Ohio Conference of the Mennonite Church USA. He has one year of Theological Studies for a Master Degree at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS). Elkhart, IN. Also, he has a double major in Accounting and Theological Studies (Hispanic Ministries) from Goshen College, Goshen, IN. Besides, he serves as the Executive Chaplain at Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio (CCNO).

His wife Concepcion (Connie) has two years of Theological Studies from Goshen College, Goshen, In.

El pastor Rene Mejia y su esposa han servido en el ministerio como pastores por cerce de nueve anos. Es pastor ordenado con la Conferencia Menonita de Ohio. Ha cursado un ano de estudios teologicos para ontener su Grado en Maestria en el Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary, (AMBS). Elkhart, IN. Tambien es graduado en Estudios Teologicos (Ministerios Hispanos) y Contabilidad en el Goshen College, Goshen, IN. Ademas, sirve como Capellan Ejecutibvo en el Centro Correccional del Noroeste do Ohio (CCNO).

Su esposa, Concepcion (Connie), ha estudiado dos anos de Estudios Teologicos en el Goshen College, Goshen, IN.
