Allen and DeeDee Iosbt: Spain

The Iobst's are missionaries serving with Campus Crusade for Christ International since 1989. They are currently serving in the field in Algeciras, Spain staffing "Operation: Transit" which is a partnership effort of Christians seeking to take the gospel to the people of North Africa. They hand out materials such as "Jesus" videos, New Testament Bibles, audiocassettes of "Jesus" and children's books that share Christ's message. They are distributed at ferry ports in Spain, France, Italy, and Malta and are given to North Africans traveling to Europe via the Mediterranean Sea during the summer to find work. Over the past year 628,052 gospel items were distributed and 193 people indicated that they received Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Prayer Requests

  1. Pray for freedom to distribute materials at the ports.
  2. Pray for receptivity of the North Africans and that their hearts would be open to hearing about the Lord.

  3. For Lori, a summer project staff person, as she prepares for next summer's distribution while Allen is in the States.
