Ministries

Benevolence:

The benevolence ministries of Grace Community Church began on on the first day of services. The church began putting 10% of its offerings into a special account to help the needy in Williams County. This ministry has grown and last year we spent $86,000 in cash assistance to pay for people's rent, utilities, prescriptions, doctor visits, car repairs, buy food , and gasoline.

The ministry was incorporated separately in 2001 under the name Community Compassion Inc.. This opened up more avenues for funding and has allowed us to help even more families in the area. The church continues to put 10% of its weekly offering into this ministry. There is much community support as well. Individuals, groups, corporations and the United Way have taken up the cause and donate tax deductible gifts to help further God's love.

This ministry is used to show God's love to individuals through practical help. If you would like to donate to Community Compassion you may send a tax deductible check to 206 West Bement Street, Bryan, Ohio, 43506.

The benevolence ministry helps pay people's gas, electric, rent, prescription, doctor visits and gasoline costs as well as it helps to provide the nearly $100,000 worth of food we donate annually to local families.
